Update failed (missing files)
If a Utomik client update fails with the message that files are missing, the automatic update system noticed files which were installed earlier, are no longer available. This can be caused if you have removed some files yourself, or by another program or by hardware failure. To remedy the situation you can follow the following steps:
- Reinstall the Utomik Client - download here
- If you still get the error, check if a virus scanner or other security software is incorrectly blocking Utomik.
- If virus scanners and other security software is not blocking the install or update and you are experiencing more problems with your hard disk, please test your hardware or have it tested by a professional. This is unfortunately not something we can help with or resolve.
- If all else fails, please contact our support to identify the problem.
